Quick Bite: Prosperity Dumplings

I'm always looking for yummy deals when my bank account runs low and this tiny place in Chinatown is the perfect place to grab a cheap bite. Walking in there are only a 2 small counters enough to seat 6 people and a large window where you can see the kitchen.

Dumplings cooking
Pork and Chive Boiled Dumplings
Taste: Wow, so flavorful! There was plenty of pork and they were definitely not stingy with the chives. Fatty and very juicy, all I needed was a touch of sriracha sauce and I was set
Texture: The skin was not too thick and perfectly chewy. The meat was soft and fatty, the best kind of comfort food!
Price: $ 2.00 for 10
Sesame Beef Pancake
Taste: This was huge. Completely coated with sesames and sprinkled with shredded carrots, cilantro, chives, beef and a drizzle of soy/ vinegar sauce. Just one of these could be a meal. The beef was so yummy by itself and well marinated. The sauce gave it the moistness and extra kick it needed. The cilantro added a freshness to the hardy pancake

Texture: The pancake was addicting, very doughy and chewy. The carrots gave it the crunch it needed
Price: $ 1.50
Verdict: Though this might not be the biggest or most comfortable place to visit, it is certainly an awesome deal for what you get. I am drooling just thinking about the dumplings and pancakes again! This is the perfect Chinese comfort food. On a spring or summer day you can just get them to go and sit outside. Mmmm!
